Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

AA Electric ("AA Electric," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit aaelectric.us (the "Site"), request a quote, or communicate with us, how we use and share that information, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, call, text, or email us, we may collect:

  • Your name, phone number, and email address

  • Your service address

  • Details about your project, such as job type, urgency, and a description of the issue

  • Photos you choose to upload

  • Any other information you include in your messages to us

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the website that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.

Information from third parties. If you reach us through an online ad, a Google Business Profile listing, or a referral, we may receive information such as your name, contact details, and which ad or listing you came from.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your quote request and communicate with you about your project

  • To prepare estimates, schedule appointments, and perform electrical services

  • To send confirmations, reminders, and service updates by phone, text, or email

  • To request feedback or a review after your job is completed

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services

  • To measure how well our website and advertising are working

  • To protect against fraud and misuse, and to comply with legal obligations

3. Text Messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number and consent to receive text messages, we will use your number to send messages related to your quote request and service, such as confirmations, follow-ups, scheduling updates, and appointment reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or reply HELP for help. You can also contact us at (805) 248-6716.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money. We only share information as follows:

  • Service providers: companies that help us run our business, such as our website and customer relationship management (CRM) platform, phone and text messaging providers, email providers, and scheduling tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.

  • Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or when needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of AA Electric, our customers, or others.

  • Business transfers: if our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

  • With your consent: in any other situation where you have asked us to share or agreed to it.

5. Cookies and Analytics

The Site may use cookies and similar tools, including services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising tools, to understand how visitors use the Site and to measure the results of our advertising. You can set your browser to block or delete cookies, though some parts of the Site may not work properly as a result. You can learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Do Not Track: Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is no common industry standard for these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.

6. How Long We Keep Information

We keep your information for as long as needed to respond to your request, provide our services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

7. How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no website, internet transmission, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it

  • Request a copy of your personal information

  • Request that we correct inaccurate personal information

  • Request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions

  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell or share it)

  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

Under California's "Shine the Light" law, California residents may also ask whether we have shared personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
